Who are we?
We are Dr. John and Dr. Helen Freeh, a Catholic husband-and-wife team with doctorates in English Literature from Oxford and Baylor Universities and extensive experience in the liberal arts world of education.
As parents classically homeschooling our three children, we understand the joys and challenges of forming great souls through great books.
Whether you’re seeking to deepen your child’s engagement with Homer, Dante, and Shakespeare, or to master college-ready writing, we’re here to help.

Our Pedagogy
We do not believe the purpose of education is to get your child into the “best” college. True education is to help your child become an excellent human being and to get your child to eternal life.
But, we have also seen that classical education training DOES help students succeed as college students and excel in the professional world.
The liberal arts method does not teach simple facts and knowledge. It teaches students to wonder about the deep truths of existence and our place within a long line of humans (saints and sinners alike) and our shared history. It teaches pride in, yet humility before the proper things.
We’re here for families who share our vision: forming wise, morally grounded young people who love God and want to think more deeply, and write more clearly.
